What to do · व्रत विधि
- Fast through the day (fruit or nirjala).
- Bathe again before sunset; in pradosh kaal do abhishek of the Shivling with water, milk, honey, bel patra.
- Read the Pradosh katha, chant ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ and break the fast after the puja.
Rule used: The vrat is on the day Trayodashi prevails during pradosh kaal (sunset to sunset + 2h 24m); we test the middle of that window.
